Secret Laboratory Exhibition

The project is a collaboration between a number of architectural practices who responded to the curator, Paul Clarke’s, request to open their personal sketch books to public display. The exhibition chronicles the drawing and the sketch as something that remains fundamental to artistic, theoretical and architectural practice. The notebooks reveal the thoughts, reflections, observations and wilful imagination of the individual architects. A record of journeys made, everyday objects, project development, conversations and things half seen and imagined.
